Le Monde - 07/25 - The open studio days of Study magazine

 

Since its launch in 2022, Study has established itself as one of the most eagerly anticipated publications on the independent editorial scene. Conceived by Christopher Niquet—editor-in-chief, stylist, author, and French publisher—this quarterly journal nurtures a singular obsession: to dedicate each issue to an artistic figure, a place, or a specific subject, explored from every angle.

Published in English, Study presents itself as a collectible object. Each volume weaves together interviews, archives, original photography, and editorial contributions. Over the course of ten issues, the magazine has explored the work of a wide range of artists—writers, photographers, visual artists (such as Adrienne Kennedy, Gösta Peterson, and Thea Djordjadze)—with a focus on telling the story of their work and their time from a different angle.
